A mussel bed in the rhythm of two tides.

 

The slow return of water. As the inside of a mussel shell hides a quiet array of colour, so the painting gives more to the viewer who pauses. Cornish tin scattered through the surface picks up the moment a wet shell finds the sun. A small painting that asks for time and gives back what is rarely seen. Pairs with Estuary Whisper.
